This web page is dedicated to God: the creator of all things. All glory and inspiration comes from the almighty one: as He once called Himself to Abraham. He is the Alpha and Omega, The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is Him, and Him alone whom I serve, worship, and give all praise to.
My name is Gayle H Smith Jr. I started this web page in July of 2016 at the age of 55. I attend a Sabbath keeping church, and believe in keeping the Sabbath as God sanctified and made holy; on the day He rested from all that He had done. I also keep all of God’s commanded Holy days as He proclaimed were His feast described in Leviticus 23. I have been in and out of the church my whole life, but mostly out of the church, and in the world, and all it’s darkness. In January of 2013 I made a decision to Give myself fully to the Lord. Since then I have read the Bible in it’s entirety three times. In the summer of 2015 I was entering into reading the Bible for the fourth time. This time however I had decided that I not only wanted to read the Bible again, but read it with the desire to develop a personal relationship with my Creator, My God, my Father, and my Savior Jesus Christ. I felt that in order to accomplish this journey I had to actually copy the KJV Bible word for word, then meditate and comment on what I believe God’s spirit is revealing to me at this junction in my spiritual growth. It is now August of 2016 and I have thus far read, studied, and commented on the book of Genesis up to chapter twenty six. Along the way I have built up a small library of information that covers more than the Genesis account. I always begin my studies with a small prayer asking for God’s guidance, to lead me, and steer me in the direction that He feels I am ready and able to understand. I have therefore created more sub-folders, charts, and maps on other topics besides just the book of Genesis. At Christ’s resurrection he gave his disciples the great commission to go out and preach the gospel to all the nations of the earth, (Mat. 28: 18, 19), In the spirit of this commission to his disciples I am inspired to spread the Gospel as it has been revealed to me through the Holy Spirit.
I do not claim to have all the answers, and I know that there will be many who will disagree with what I have to say, and what I believe has been revealed to me to be the truth. I am a work in progress just as we all are who have been chosen and called. I am but a simple man with little education, I do not hold any degrees nor do I have a working knowledge in sentence structure, and the ebb and flow of how to put down on paper my thoughts with grammatical fluency. I ask that you keep this in consideration when you are reading my work. Sword sharpens sword, and I therefore welcome all constructive criticism of my work. I will take those serious questions and comments to heart from those that are seeking the same thing I am: the TRUTH, according to Gods word. This web page is also a work in progress and I intend to keep adding to it as I progress in my studies. The last thing I would like to say here is that in no way shape or form has the church I attend, or any of its ministers sanctioned any of my work. This is my work and mine alone.
